庭あさひは、鹿児島生まれ・東京在住の、詩人、アーティスト、ブックメーカーです。2012年から詩作を続け、イラストレーションや造本とあわせて、本を「読む体験」であると同時に「物質としての存在」として捉え、その可能性を探っています。従来の書籍フォーマットに捉われず、自然素材、手製本などを取り入れ、触れること、動かすこと、飾ることまで含めて読者が体験できる本を探求しています。独立出版レーベル「zazagigi press」主宰。

Born in Kagoshima and based in Tokyo, Asahi Niwa is a poet, artist, and bookmaker. She has been writing poetry since 2012 and graduated from the Graduate School of Design at Kyushu University. After working as a fashion designer, she now focuses on picture books, art books, and illustration. Through poetry, illustration, and bookmaking, she explores the possibilities of books as both reading experiences and physical objects. Moving beyond conventional book formats, she incorporates natural materials and hand-binding techniques to create books that can be experienced through touch, movement, and display. She also runs the independent publishing label zazagigi press.
